It's a lot more simplified than what we are seeing in Windows 10, without Live Tiles although it still includes Pinned apps, Recent Files and Shut down/Restart buttons.
In case you didn't like the centre-aligned Start Menu, there's an option to move them all to the left-hand side. Windows 11 definitely is more refined and good looking than what we have now, also it is expected to be a little faster than Windows 10.
Windows 11 Widgets |
Widgets feature might also get a comeback with Windows 11, as we can see in the leaked images, the Widgets aren't fully loading in the under-development version of the OS, but the widgets will provide quick access to news, weather, and other web content.
The Windows Store seems to be the same as the previous versions, but as this is an early leaked version, we might see it in the final versions of Windows 11.
We'll also see the Game Bar and Windows Game Mode is the same as what we have in Windows 10.
The New Xbox Experience in Windows 11 |
The new Xbox app is now integrated into Windows 11, offering quick access to Xbox Game Pass games, the social parts of the Xbox network, and the Xbox store.
The development of the Windows 11 is almost done, and the software giant is hinting that they are good to launch their next-gen OS on June 24th via a Special windows event, which starts at 11AM ET. We've seen lots of leaks and announcements about Windows 11 in the past couple of months, and now these leaks confirm the reveal of Windows 11 later this month.
We can also see a new Snap control with Windows 11 that you can access from the maximize button of any tab that lets you align the tab side-by-side or just arrange them in a section on your desktop.
New Snap Feature in Windows 11 |
Microsoft confirmed that they'll not launch the Microsoft 10x in 2021 anymore that was being a developer for dual-screen devices that was a lighter-weight os. So they pushed all the development towards Windows 11, and that's why Windows 11 have very much similar looks to the WIndows 10x. So it is believed that Windows 11 is going to be a lighter operating system too.
