Earlier we saw an early version of Windows 11 was leaked out, and many folks tried it including Linus Tech Tips) and finally, Microsoft Windows 11 is now officially out. This new operating system has debuted nearly 6 Years after the launch of Windows 10 that took place in July 2015. Windows 11 comes with Fresh, Clean and Modern Looks. There are also some removals like the Removal of the 'Hi-Cortana' welcome screen and Live Tiles (those were annoying and resource hungry). Users like Modern, Clean and Simple looks that's why many people love macOS, and Chrome OS. Keeping this in mind, Microsoft has also aimed for Simple, Clean and Modern Looks for their OS this time.

Windows 11 Price

Microsoft is offering free upgrades to licenced users of Windows 8.1 and 10. This means if you are having an older version of Windows such as Windows 7 or Windows 8, you'll have to upgrade to an activated version of Windows 8.1 or Windows 10 in order to get a free upgrade to Windows 11.

Microsoft Windows 11 will also be available built-in into PC's, and Desktops but the price of those built-in Windows 11 will varies. It depends! Many different manufacturers will offer a variety of devices that will run Windows 11, all at different price points.

Windows 11 Hardware Requirements

Windows 11 requires a minimum of 1 gigahertz (GHz) or faster with 2 or more cores on a compatible 64-bit processor, 4 GB Ram, 64 GB or Larger Storage Device, UEFI, Secure Boot capable system firmware, and DirectX 12 Compatible Graphics as well as a display bigger than 9” with HD Resolution (720p).

If you have Windows 8.1 or Windows 10 installed on your system. You can download the PC Health check app to see if your current PC meets the requirements to run Windows 11. If so, you can get a free upgrade when it rolls out.

How to upgrade to Windows 11

If your system is compatible with Windows 11 and meets at least the minimum Hardware Requirements then you should be able to upgrade to Windows 11 once it rolls out. Windows 11 isn’t here yet but will be coming later this year. Although if your system doesn't meet the minimum system requirements you can continue using Windows 10, Windows 10 continues to be a great version of Windows. Though Microsoft announced that Windows 10 will be in official support until October 14, 2025.

PC's with Built-in Windows 11

As windows 11 is not out yet, Windows 11 is not built-in into any PC, although there are some Windows 10 PCs that can upgrade for free when Windows 11 rolls out. Shop PC's that will offer free Windows 11 Upgrade after it rolls out.
