Dimensity 9000 Seems To Outperform Exynos 2200 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 In Recent GeekBench Results
Dimensity 9000 vs Snapdragon 8 Gen1 vs Exynos 2200 |
Trusted leaker Ice Universe recently tweeted GeekBench results for and according to that, Dimensity 9000 is outperforming the Exynos 2200 and the snapdragon gen 1 single-handedly. The graph revealed by him also reveals that Apple's Bionic chips are still leading the race which justifies why Apple deserves the fame.
The Exynos 2200 have long been hyped but people were left disappointed when Samsung missed its previous launch date and deleted all social media tweets regarding it. It's been expected that we'll see the Exynos 2200 in some variants of the Samsung S22 launching next fab in some regions only while on the rest of the regions we'll get the Snapdragon variants of the Galaxy S22, but that is yet to be confirmed officially on the launch date next February.
Talking about the immensity 9000 we will see phones equipped with it in the next few months in phones from OnePlus, Xiaomi, Motorola and even Samsung. The Exynos 2200 seems to be lagging behind in both multi-core and single-core performance.
Benchmarks vs Real World
One might confidently draw out conclusions from raw mathematical calculations performed by benchmarking software to test a processor but chips often turn out to perform very differently once set in a real-world situation which includes daily life tasks, media playing, gaming etc.
Also, it would be unfair to rely on single benchmarking software as different software relies on different aspects and might as well be biased or cheated by companies. The performance also depends on cooling and it's on the phone how well it can keep the temperature of the chip normal thus influencing the overall performance. So we'll know the truth as more and more benchmarks will start coming out.
