A look into Xbox X|S Recycled AMD 4700S Desktop Kit (ft. Zen 2 APU)

Image
AMD 4700S Desktop Kit Launched AMD finally released its new Desktop kit with 4700S APU based on its award-winning Zen2 Architecture. It's worth noting that this isn't a Ryzen APU. The new 4700S seems quite similar to the well known A9-9820 APU which was using the Xbox one Processors. It's official that the AMD 4700S Zen 2 Based Desktop Kit comes pre-installed on a Mini-ITX Motherboard with 2 Ram variants (one with 16 GB of GDDR6 and 8GB), one full-size based PCIe 2.0 x4, though you'll not get any M.2 slots here, Moreover, AMD revealed just little specs of AMD 4700 APU which says it will be based on Zen 2 Architecture with 8 Cores and 16 Threads, and up to 16GB of GDDR6 memory configuration, all these specs looks kinda similar to the Xbox Series, Isn't it? Although the frequencies of memory and computer core are still unknown. Unfortunately, even after being an APU, it doesn't support any integrated Graphics and this hints that it's a repurposed version
